Housing Choice Voucher - Opening of Waiting List (Limited)

Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Applications:

FOR PUBLIC NOTICE:

The Cleveland Housing Authority announces the opening of the Housing Choice Voucher wait list beginning Wednesday, September 1, 2021 and will accept a maximum of one hundred (100) applications at which time the wait list will immediately close until further notice.

Because of the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic, CHA remains committed to providing access to rental assistance program waiting list(s) in a manner that protects CHA's applicants, residents, and its employees.

Pre-Applications can only be completed electronically (online) via the internet on our website at www.clevelandhousingauthority.org for the Housing Choice Voucher program.  Additional information on program eligibility and income eligibility can also be found on our website.

Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements to be admitted to CHA's rental assistance programs.

Effective Wednesday, September 1, 2021, Pre-applications will not be accepted in paper format.  All applicants must apply online.  Walk-ins or hand delivered pre-applications will not be accepted.
